Indochina Dragonplum, scientifically known as Dracontomelon dao, is a species of flowering plant in the family Anacardiaceae. Native to Southeast Asia, particularly the countries of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam, this majestic tree is renowned for its impressive stature, cultural significance, and various uses.

The Indochina Dragonplum is a large deciduous tree that can reach heights of up to 40 meters (130 feet) or more, with a broad canopy that provides ample shade. Its trunk is often straight and cylindrical, with smooth, grayish-brown bark that becomes deeply fissured with age. The leaves are compound, alternate, and pinnate, typically consisting of several elliptical leaflets with serrated margins, giving the foliage a lush and tropical appearance.
